This is an ok course for the money, if you are in the area. The positives: inexpensive, decent amenities, junior golfers are welcomed.
The negatives:
Never in great shape... I'd say it's usually around a 5-6 out of 10 in terms of shape
The greens are 5 out of 10
Not much of a challenge
Uninspired layout
The bottom line: You can start your kids and other beginners on The Saints. Once they gain experience and confidence take them to Fairwinds, Panther Woods, Eagle Marsh, or some other affordable course. Quite frankly, there are just better public golf courses in the tri-county area.
